The AI workshop researchers loved is back on July 26

A few weeks ago, we ran a small workshop for researchers who wanted to use AI more intentionally in their work. We wanted to encourage researchers to ask better questions and work more efficiently without compromising on quality. Having tested these tools extensively over the past two years, it was rewarding to provide hands-on guidance on how to use them effectively.

We called it the AI Research Accelerator Workshop. We kept it small on purpose with just a handful of researchers, no heavy promotion. To be honest, we weren’t sure how it would land. But the feedback surprised us. People told us it was exactly what they needed. They walked away with more confidence, practical strategies, and in some cases, concrete progress on research they’d been stuck on.

Several participants asked us when we’d be running it again. So we are!

It will follow the same format as before: live, interactive, hands-on. We’re capping it at 30 participants this time, to keep it focused and personal.

Who this is for?

If you’re doing research and feel overwhelmed by all the talk around AI or unsure how to actually use it in a meaningful way, this workshop is for you. We explore tools like ChatGPT, Paperpal, Jenni AI, Julius, and SciSpace. We focus on practical applications. and we show you how to integrate them into your workflow with clarity and integrity.

This workshop is for you if you want to:

  • Use AI thoughtfully to enhance your critical thinking rather than replace it

  • Work more efficiently while keeping full control of your research

  • Gain practical strategies to overcome research blocks and make progress

We’re excited to build another cohort of researchers who are curious, careful, and open to learning.

Let me know if you have questions. Otherwise, hope to see you on the 26th.
